Ore City offers potential clients an atmosphere of country living with all the amenities of a modern community and none of the hassles of big-city life. Hunting and fishing opportunities are only steps away as the city is surrounded by rolling, forested hills, and sits adjacent to Lake O’ the Pines, a nationally known destination for fishermen, duck hunters and – in the temperate months – water sports. With Longview a scant 17 miles away, there is the nearby opportunities for fine dining, movies, museums and music.
Ore City offers business and industry easy access to primary markets as it sits astride U.S. 259. Texas 155 is a major state highway, and Ore City is equidistant from Interstate 30 and Interstate 20. Our location, just 17 miles north of Longview, provides access to products and services sufficient for any business. Ore City is located less than three hours from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and only an hour from Shreveport, LA.
